Overnight on the U.S.S.  New Jersey

The kids and grownups of Pack 181 had an inspiring experience aboard the U.S.S. New Jersey for our overnight in February.  We all had a fun time, but there was also a great sence of the history of that ship and of our country.  It is one thing to go on an hour tour of a ship, but it's quite another to live, eat, and sleep much like her crew once did.  It was a joy to see how happy our scouts were to work in the chow line and assist in raising and lowering the colors.
